ProTeam Polyquat 30 is a great product for controlling algae growth in swimming pools. This product is non-foaming, non-staining and pH neutral making it an economical solution for algae prevention.
Dosage
13-24 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water.
Routine Maintenance:
4-9 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water per week
Visible Algae:
24-36 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water
Directions
This algaecide is used to control the growth of algae in swimming pools, exterior spa, whirlpools, and hot tubs. For maximum effectiveness pools, spas, whirlpools, hot tubs containing heavy growth of algae should be cleaned prior to using this algaecide.
For pools having just visible algae growth add an initial dos of 24 to 36 fluid ounces of this algaecide per 10,000 gallons of water and remove settled algae debris by cleaning. For treatment of freshly cleaned and filled pool add initially 13 to 24 fluid ounces of this algaecide per 10,000 gallons of water. Subsequent additions of 4 to 9 fluid ounces of this algaecide per 10,000 gallons of water should be made every 5 to 7 days after initial treatment for maintenance.
