Description
ProTeam pH Down lowers pH and alkalinity in pool water. This product prevents scaling and is safer to use than liquid acid. Sanitizers work most efficiently when pH is kept in proper range. Therefore a properly balanced pool will require less sanitizer and less maintenance. Keeping your pool balanced is an important step in getting the most out of and preserving the life of pool and spa equipment. Dosage
pH 7.6 to 7.8:
1 lb per 10,000 gallons of water.
pH 7.8 to 8.0:
1 1/4 lb per 10,000 gallons of water.
pH 8.0 to 8.4:
2 lb per 10,000 gallons of water.
ph 8.4 and above:
2 1/2 lb per 10,000 gallons of water.
Directions
- Test pH of pool water.
- Determine the amount of ProTeam pH Down required from the table.
- Dilute the appropriate amount of ProTeam pH Down in a 5 gallon bucket of water.
- Pour entire contents of the diluted ProTeam pH Down evenly around the pool.
- Never add water to acid. Always add acid to water.
If your pool water has Total alkalinity above 175 ppm consult your professoinal ProTeam dealer for proper application procedures to lower alkalinity.
